Supplying products and services to The University of Exeter

Green credentials

The University of Exeter is proud of its green credentials which affect all our policies. In 2009, The People & Planet Green League Table gave Exeter a ‘First class award for environmental performance’, and ranked it the 14th ‘greenest’ University in the UK, out of 126 higher education institutions.

Any supplier would need to be aware of this and successful businesses will be those who share our commitment to the environment.

Best Value

When the University acquires goods, works or services for its schools and services, it looks for best value. This value will usually be measured against some or all of the following criteria:

  • Lifecycle value
  • Risk
  • Sustainability
  • Innovative solutions
  • Fit with University strategy
